Warrior King

Warrior King learns to control his use of power and discern the higher principle
The Warrior King exists in a fear-driven world where he knows he has the power to assert his will, even against resistance. The Hero’s been asserting it against the elements, or evil forces, but the Warrior King must learn to use it properly when in relationship with others. He is no longer completing tasks assigned to him by the Mentor. He is managing the Heroes now, responsible for the level of collateral damage, and providing protection and resources to his people.
The Warrior King must resist the urge to do what is expedient to achieve his goals or risk becoming the Tyrant. He does this by applying the Goldilocks Test of ‘not too much, not too little, just right’. This is particularly true when he is in relation to the love-based world. How will he govern a world with completely different operating conditions, and preserve its integrity? He must provide fair leadership in diverse environments.
When the Warrior King encounters the Lover Goddess he is face-to-face with the ultimate challenge. He feels compelled to give her his heart, knowing this is how they will connect. This is a huge change from controlling his emotions by locking them all inside, as the Hero does. In a knee jerk reaction the Warrior King puts the Lover Goddess in a tower, on a pedestal, or, projects his values onto her and reprimands her for any steps out of the bounds. Patiently he is sure she will shape up eventually and the situation will be under control.
In all the Warrior King’s relationships, he needs to learn that his job is to discern the highest principle and be willing to die to uphold it. In the case of a relationship with the feminine, the highest principle is that he values her unique way of being in the world and what it exposes him to. It is through protecting the space for the feminine, in himself and others, the Warrior King finds his higher purpose.
The Warrior King will sacrifice his need to project, make assumptions, or control people, when his power is needed to make the environment safe for the Lover Goddess to be herself. Through his leadership and self sacrifice the world expands enormously.
